2022-02-23His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, sponsored on Tuesday “The Starting March” event in Wadi Namar as part of the Kingdom’s activities to celebrate the founding day, presented by 3,500 artists, actors, and performers who presented artistic paintings that simulate the history of the Saudi state over three centuries.
Upon the arrival of H.R.H. at the event venue, he was received by His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the Minister of Commerce and Minister of Information in charge, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, and Fahd Hameed Al-Din, CEO and Board Member of the Saudi Tourism Authority.
The event included visual and lyrical performances about the beginning of the kingdom’s founding phase and the challenges that accompanied the historical era that was reviewed in the panoramic shows, the first of which embodied “Mawal of The Voice of the Earth”, the second show is “The situation before Mani’ Al-Muraydi” all the way to “The third show to “the advent of Mani’ Al-Muraydi”, while the fourth show also highlighted "Instability", along with paintings simulating the march of "the founder, Muhammad bin Saud", "Banners of Unity", "Ladies of Glory", "The Present and the Past" and "The Biography of Saudi Arabia", concluding its folkloric performances with the show of “Ardat Al-Frayes”.
