The Riyadh Municipality has issued indicators of the performance of service agencies in the city of Riyadh during the first half of 2022, with a comparison to the same period of 2021, which aims to improve the response of service agencies to the reports and complaints of citizens.
The Municipality indicated that the total excavation licenses during the first six months of 2022 amounted to 49.8 thousand, while the total during the same period 2021 was 43 thousand and 400 permits.
The Municipality added in an infographic on its Twitter account that the most companies issuing drilling licenses are: the National Water Company, 24,327 thousand, compared to 19,991 in 2021, followed by the Saudi Electricity Company, 21,272 thousand, compared to 19,487 in the same period of 2021. While the Ministry of Transport came at the bottom of the list with 27 excavation permits compared to 24 in 2021, preceded by the Riyadh Traffic Department with 76 permits compared to 26 in the previous year.
The National Water Company also topped the most violating authorities in the quality of excavation implementation, followed by the Riyadh City Projects Center, then the Saudi Electricity Company, and then Integrated Communications.
