His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh, extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 95th National Day. He praised the efforts of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud and his men in unifying this blessed land, spreading security and safety across the Arabian Peninsula, and bringing its tribes together under the banner of monotheism.
His Highness stated that the sons of the founding King carried the banner after him and continued the journey of development and construction. By the grace of Allah, they consolidated the foundations of the state, achieved renaissance and leadership both regionally and globally, and placed the Kingdom in a position befitting its deep-rooted civilization and sacred land. He affirmed that the bright reality the Kingdom enjoys today is the fruit of the sacrifices and heroism of the founding generation and those who came after them, who overcame the challenges faced by the state, steered it to safety, safeguarded its unity and the integrity of its land and people, until prosperity and progress prevailed, paving the way for boundless ambitions and dreams.
He further explained that the unprecedented developmental phase the Kingdom is witnessing today is the result of efforts extending over ninety-five years since that historic day inscribed in letters of light, led by King Abdulaziz and carried on by his sons, up to the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman may Allah preserve them. Under their leadership, the Kingdom launched its ambitious Vision for the future, marked by countless achievements and successes across all sectors.
Bin Ayyaf pointed out that Riyadh embodies this progress and advancement in its streets, neighborhoods, and mega-projects, with its vast capabilities now enabling it to host the world’s greatest events and activities. Riyadh has transformed  since the unification of the Kingdom on September 23, 1932, from a small town with dirt roads and mud houses into a global capital that rivals the finest cities of the world.
He added: Since the launch of Saudi Vision 2030, Riyadh has entered a new stage of modernization and development aimed at making it one of the best cities in the world to live, work, and invest in. This ambitious vision has translated into massive projects reshaping the city’s identity and future. This renaissance extends across all cities of the Kingdom, each receiving the care and support of our wise leadership. He concluded with a prayer to Almighty Allah to preserve our homeland and its leadership, and to bless us with continued security, prosperity, and progress.
