Riyadh Municipality continues its intensive field operations during this year’s Hajj season through its Guest Service Centers located across several governorates, welcoming pilgrims arriving by land as part of an integrated system designed to facilitate their passage and ensure smooth entry into the holy sites.
The municipality began early preparations to equip these service centers in key governorates located along vital land routes. These include Al-Kharj, Al-Haythm, Wadi ad-Dawasir, Rumah, Al-Quway’iyah, and Afif. The operational plan is designed with flexibility to accommodate the flow of pilgrims and their arrival schedules, enhancing the efficiency of the organization and ensuring smooth traffic movement.
These centers operate around the clock during the official operational period, covering all phases of pilgrim reception. They benefit from fully developed infrastructure, including a modern service environment  with Al-Kharj Center alone spanning over 5,000 square meters. The centers provide a comprehensive range of services including organized entry procedures, guidance, logistical support, and coordination with relevant government entities to offer a seamless and safe experience for the pilgrims.
It is worth noting that these efforts are part of the Riyadh Municipality’s strategy to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims and strengthen the coordination among relevant entities. This supports the objectives of the “Serving Guests of Allah ” Program and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to improve the pilgrimage experience and facilitate the spiritual journey of pilgrims from the moment they enter the Kingdom until their departure.
