Riyadh Municipality, represented by the Municipality Sector – South Riyadh, implemented a volunteer environmental initiative in the southern part of Wadi Al-Sulai, with the participation of more than 100 volunteers, coinciding with the celebration of Saudi National Day.
The initiative aimed to promote the preservation of valleys and natural sites, improve the surrounding environment, and included the removal of waste and addressing its impacts at the site. This contributes to caring for the valley’s environment, enhancing its sustainability, and raising awareness about the importance of protecting natural areas across the city.
The initiative is part of Riyadh Municipality’s efforts to strengthen community and volunteer participation by engaging members of society in environmental initiatives, enhancing their role in preserving the city’s environment and natural sites.
